A satire about four college couples’ picnic in a haunted house occupied by a mysterious resident. Amid ghost stories and late night visitors, the eyes of the spook reflect the humorous disorder of man. The setting for SPOOK! was Korner’s Folly in Kernersville, NC 1972 Korner’s Folly is the 22-room former home of Jule Korner, an artist and architect who painted Bull Durham cigarette ads on buildings throughout the South. It is a dizzying amalgam spread over three stories and seven levels; ceilings range from 5 to 25 feet. There are intricate mosaic tile on the floors, murals, trap doors and pivoting windows.

That’s a goosebumpy house gialrht Marija but so beautiful in it’s devastated state. There’s a ‘shiver-me-timbers’ feel to it & the cigar cookies are elegant & just beautiful!

that is true, but I … that is true, but I can’t explain it, it’s a different kind of scary. The monsters and unexpected scares are cool and all but it gets boring and old after a while.but what I am trying to say is, IMO I find the psychological aspect of terror to be much more disturbing, not necessarily just the grudge, it could be anything, like things that make people uncomfortable, but are “virtually” real for the time being in the “haunted house.”it’s more of a constant scare than just pop ups here and there.

I dont know about … I dont know about you, but personally, having something come out of nowhere that looks freakish and dangerous that appears to be about to physically harm me in ways I can’t or don’t know how to protect myself from would be more scary than some girl painted white walking around. You might get frightened everytime you see a little girl, but most people get frightened by unexpected danger, especially when it’s from something they don’t understand or can’t prevent.
